Rosanne Johnson CARosanne Johnson, CA

Rosanne was born and raised in a small mining village near Kimberley, South Africa, she came to the U.S. as an Au Pair, and decided to make this great country her home. She is a busy mom of three kids and when she is not at the clinic being Dr. Myers’ chiropractic assistant and certified massage therapist, she keeps busy with volunteering at her kids’ school and being an active member of the P.T.A. She loves to travel, swim, read and in the Summertime, spends her weekends camping.

“The field of chiropractic is so vast, I learn more about it every day, just by being in the clinic. I have seen complete healing of conditions that I didn’t even know could be treated through chiropractic care. I am truly blessed to be a part of this incredible team.”

Anni is a massage therapist for Dr. Myers and became a massage therapist to help people feel balanced and live active lives free of pain. She practices a range of massage therapy techniques and specializes in Thai Yoga massage, which is an ancient form of bodywork that utilizes stretching and compression. Anni lives with her husband Rizo, their 95 lb. dog Twiggy, Bella the cat, and three loud chickens: Bataille, Hsiao Kang, and Pasquale. She rides her bike all around town, and likes to be creative in her spare time, making art, music, and good food.

“I have experienced so many healing benefits in my life because of routine massage, bodywork, and chiropractic care. I am so thankful to be a part of a team that is all about natural wellness!”

Thai massage is a form of bodywork that was created nearly 2,500 years ago. It is still used today to relax, release, energize, increase flexibility and is very complimentary to chiropractic. During a Thai massage the client remains clothed in loose fitting attire (sweat pants or yoga pants, and t-shirts work well) and lies on a mat on the floor. The therapist uses their thumbs, hands, feet, elbows, and knees to apply pressure along tight muscles and energy lines (also known as SEN lines, similar to “meridians”) to release muscle and energetic tension. The client’s body is moved into yoga like poses and gently stretched to increase flexibility and to disperse the released energy throughout the body.

please do not wear jeans or clothing that will not allow stretching movements.

please don’t eat a heavy meal before coming to your appointment.
